Select the "Get More Addons" tab and then click on the search bar. Select World of Warcraft and you will be presented with the following two tabs: "My Addons" and "Get More Addons". For the purposes of downloading addons, you can ignore this and should instead click on the "Mods" option at the top of the app. Once you have completed this, you will be presented with a screen similar to that of the Twitch homepage. Once you have downloaded and installed the app, you will be prompted to either log in with your Twitch account or create one. This app has the same functionality, with some cosmetic changes added in. You can start by downloading the Twitch App here - this used to be called the Curse Client, prior to Twitch acquiring Curse, a name many of you are likely more familiar with. This is by far the simplest of the three options and the most safe of them. There are a few different methods depending on the addon you are downloading, so we're going to go over each of them with a step-by-step guide. \FrameXML\OptionsPanelTemplates.Addons open up a whole new world of possibilities for your user interface (UI) in WoW - the question is, how can you start downloading them and getting them running in-game? This was fixed when they removed the distance slider in patch 7.1.0 but now the slider with the bug is back again in Classic, getting set on PLAYER_ENTERING_WORLD It capping back is a bug introduced in Legion when they changed the effective max distance from 50 to 28.5 (1.9) and then to 39 (2.6), the cvar being limited to the slider’s max value. I can confirm setting the cameraDistanceMaxZoomFactor cvar to 3.4 or 4.0 worked during the first stress test or even earlier.

Not sure which particular build this change was done in but observed on build 30682. No idea if this was a deliberate change or something they forgot to set properly for beta. It also means if you zone it may possibly be reset to 2 as well (more testing needs to be done on that aspect) This means placing an appropriate line to set it in config.wtf won’t do anything as soon as your character is logged in game. It gets capped back to 2.0 on the PLAYER_ENTERING_WORLD event.

From digging around using Console mode I’ve found out that for the CVar cameraDistanceMaxZoomFactor it’s upper limit has been increased.
